Online Character Sheets

I found a good, customisable Fate character sheet online. It’s a simple registration with an email address (no need for password).

Here’s a sample: Kal Ahz’Kadiri : Belphegor power broker

Demonic Life and Death

Demons are supernatural creatures of great potency, ancient wisdom and fiery might. This makes them notoriously difficult to kill, though they can be banished, exorcised or burn out their energy.

In Fate, this is represented by three Stress tracks: Physical, Mental and Infernal.

Physical Stress : All demons start with 6 Physical Stress. Pelei demons gain an additional 2 Physical Stress. This represents wear and tear to the demon’s physical form. A demon who drops below 0 Physical Stress is temporarily banished from the mortal realm unless they have an active soul anchor in place.

Mental Stress : All demons start with 6 Mental Stress. Jutas demons gain an additional 2 Mental Stress. This represents a demon’s mental stability, as well as its general mental strength and sense of self. A demon who drops below 0 Mental Stress gains a Consequence as befits the situation.

Infernal Stress : All demons start with 6 Infernal Stress. This represents the amount of supernatural energy writhing within the demon’s form. Infernal Stress is replenished by devouring souls or winning contests that cause mortals to succumb to the demon’s focus sin. A demon who drops below 0 Infernal Stress is unable to perform any stunts that require Infernal stress and must take a Consequence. They are also unable to maintain their mortal disguise forms, instead reverting to their natural forms.

Demonic Forms

All demons have two forms: their natural, demonic forms and their “mortal” form.

While they retain the same abilities and resilience in either form, all demons (with the exception of the Jutas ) are able to assume the form of a mortal human. These mortal forms all have some subtle hint of the demons nature, be it eyes that glow red when the demon is angered, long, sharpened canine teeth or some demonic runes indelibly tattooed onto their skin.

To assume their mortal form, a demon must spend 1 Infernal Stress and succeed at a Will roll. This allows the demon to use the mortal form from sunrise to sunset or sunset to sunrise. A demon must expend Infernal Stress and succeed at a Will roll each time they attempt to take a mortal form.

A demon’s natural form does not require a roll or expediture of Infernal Stress, but it is obviously otherworldly and likely to inspire some sort of reaction from mortals in the vicinity.

Standard Demonic Stunts

The following stunts are available to be used by all demons in addition to those stunts specific to their type and character.

Aura of Nausea
Infernal Stress : 2
Opposed By : Will

After expending Infernal Stress, any creature that walks within a close distance of the demon is afflicted with pain and nausea. Any creature attempting to breach the area around the demon must roll Will and get at least 3 + the demon’s Infernal Stress. Failing this means that the character cannot enter the area around the demon and becomes Overcome with Nausea and Vomitting (with a free invocation) for the next five minutes or until they retreat at least 100 yards from the demon. This last for one scene, until expelled by the demon or supernatural entity succeeds at the Will roll.

Bind Soul
Infernal Stress : 2
Opposed By : Will

On a successful Will roll, this power allows the demon to imprison a human soul. Once the soul is torn from the mortal, the target’s body slumps into a coma-like state. For every day that the soul is bound, the demon gains one point of stress back to either Physical, Mental or Infernal Stress. For each day in such a state, the human’s body loses one point of Physical Stress until it dies and the soul is sent to Hell.

Black Binding
Infernal Stress : 2

This power allows the demon to raise a corpse back to the unlife of a zombie. The zombie lasts until destroyed or until the next new moon. Zombies created during a lunar eclipse gain twice the Physical Stress and last until the next lunar eclipse. Zombies created during a solar eclipse gain twice the Physical Stress, last until the next solar eclipse and may walk onto Hallowed ground.

Cause Blindness
Infernal Stress : 1
Opposed By : Will

On a successful roll and after expending Infernal Stress, this power allows the demon to inflict Blindness as a permanent aspect upon the target.

Deflect Harm
Infernal Stress : 1

After expending Infernal Stress, this power grants the demon the Shielded by Infernal Forces aspect. While active, the demon need not defend against a physical attack: the defender’s result is automatically treated as Good (+3) + the demon’s Infernal Stress. This lasts for one scene.

Detect Sin
Opposed By : Will

On a successful roll, this power allows the demon to smell the direction and strength of the nearest creature that has sinned. The type of sin smelled by the demon is always the sin associated with its type.

Dark Cloak of Infernal Shadow
Infernal Stress : 1

After expending Infernal Stress, this power grants the demon the Hidden from Celestials aspect. When a Celestial attempts to locate or comes within 5 yards of the demon, the Celestial must make a Will roll against a target of 3 + the demon’s Infernal Stress.

Forbid Supernatural Entity
Infernal Stress : 1 (plus Physical Stress if desired for longer effect)
Opposed By : Will

After expending Infernal Stress and dripping some of its blood at the foot of an entrance, this power allows the demon to forbid any non-Celestial or non-Infernal supernatural entities from entering into a single structure. The entity is physically unable to enter the structure and recognises immediately upon approaching the structure that it is not welcome within. This effect lasts for one day. If the demon expends a point of Physical Stress as well, the effect lasts for one month. If the demon expends five points of Physical Stress as well, the effect lasts until disrupted by a Celestial or another Infernal.

Summon Lesser Demon
Infernal Stress : 2

After expending Infernal Stress, this power allows the demon to summon a lesser demon from Hell. These lesser demons do not have individual True Names and follow the commands of the summoning demon until it is destroyed. These lesser demons also do not have much in the way of intellect and are only able to follow simple commands similar to that used by a mortal with a dog. Stats provided by GM when summoned.
